First Year Writing placement
The MSU Denver Office of Testing Services offers secure proctoring services for the MSU Denver community. Our core service is providing Math and English placement testing services to new students during the enrollment process.
The testing center offers a variety of other testing services in addition to placement exams, our exam services include:
- Test proctoring service for “mostly online” courses (click here to schedule for an online class exam appointment)
- Departmental Testing (CPCE, ISA, Senior Exit Exams, etc.)
- CLEP testing
Spring Semester 2025 Services:
Drop in testing is available for Accuplacer math placement tests and First Year Writing placements Monday through Friday between 9am and 3pm. Bring a photo ID to Tivoli Room 347 and complete all necessary tests – no fee required and no appointment necessary!
NOTE: Testing Services is closed for the winter break and will re-open on January 2, 2025. We will close on January 20 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Placement tests for English and Math are also available to complete at home by request. Please see the links at the top of this page for details.
